FAQ

  • 15-20 minute sessions, offered at a designated day and place, designed to take all the mental labor out of planning a family shoot for you!

  • These mini sessions come in the option to be shot entirely on film - yes, film rolls, the old school style! The rolls are shipped and processed by a professional lab. You will receive the high res digital versions in your final gallery.

  • Film offers unique color, lighting, and grain qualities that make a family photo feel like a one-of-a-kind portrait you wanna frame; interesting and artful and occasionally surprising. Film has a way of capturing life with a nostalgic tone that I’ve grown to love and I trust you will too, once you see your family captured on this beautiful format!

  • These sessions are shot on digital or film photos - the rate includes 30 black and white images, 30 color copies. The photos are sent to you ~2 weeks after your session on a private, downloadable gallery.

  • Locations will change based on the season, but are typically at parks and beaches in the Seattle area. During winter months I typically host them at an indoor natural light studio.

  • Anyone who wants one! These can be for a mini engagement session, headshots, pet portraits, grandparent portraits, etc. The short duration works particularly well for kids age 0-5.

  • Although booking deposits are non-refundable, I provide several options upfront to move your session. When you book your shoot, take note of the make-up shoot date which will be reserved in advance for anyone who needs to move their mini session. Additionally you can always put your deposit towards another type of session, or the next round of minis.

  • Yes! Except for the studio minis - they have a no pets allowed policy. Most other shoots are at local beaches and parks and pets are totally welcome.
